Do you love to code? We have a long and growing list of interesting projects, but too few engineers to get them all done. There's plenty of opportunity to take ownership of a project at all levels of the stack. Past interns have helped us scale our infrastructure, tune our site performance, and have built new features into our products. At Knewton, interns are a key part of the team who work hand in hand with a development team working at the cutting edge of education software.
What we need from you:
* Coding experience and a demonstrated interest in technology.
* A serious attention to detail and a passion for building quality web applications.
* Creative problem solving.
* Excellent math or quantitative skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Bonus Points:
* Computer science, engineering, or math coursework.
* Knowledge of MySQL, Python, and/or Ruby on Rails.
