The internship is full-time (40 hours/week). You will get hands on SEO and social media experience working with a passionate, results-oriented team. The salary for this internship is $10/hour.
You will:
* Learn Search Engine Optimization
* Maintain a database of websites that could provide an inbound link to Knewton.com
* Research and identify new linking opportunities
* Conduct outreach via phone and email to website owners for the purpose of obtaining inbound links.
* Assist in other online marketing / social media initiatives as needed
Our work environment is fun and fast-paced. You must:
* Be extremely driven to produce results
* Be passionate about the Internet and online marketing, and have an interest in learning SEO
* Be really psyched about working for a tech startup
* Be able to communicate professionally in writing, on the phone, and in person
* Possess strong computer skills (specifically Microsoft Excel and conducting internet research).
You will need to commute to our office located in Union Square, NYC.
