We're looking to expand our current Business Development team, the group that develops relationships with colleges and universities to provide platform capabilities and remediation products and services. The Institutional Sales & Marketing Manager reports to the Assistant Vice President of Partnerships. We're looking for someone who is high-energy, ready for a challenge, great communication skills, can juggle hundreds of contacts with ease, wants to grow with a company on a lofty trajectory, and has passion for education and a job well done. Travel will be required as part of the position.
Responsibilities include
* Build a B2B sales toolkit of resources, including PowerPoint, print, email and lead generation marketing materials
* Prospecting, building, and maintaining a pipeline of well-vetted institutional clients
* Responding to RFPs and other inbound revenue opportunities
* Working with the Online Marketing team to develop web-based lead generation vehicles
* Working with the Finance Director to size and prioritize all institutional opportunities
* Working with Partnership Management team to grow existing partnerships
* Working with Product team to define product specs and client needs
* Maintaining a conference calendar of relevant B2B speaking opportunities and preparing and submitting presentation proposals
* Coordinating all B2B conference activities
* Ongoing research of the post-secondary online education market
* Sales and direct revenue generation from institutional clients
Requirements
* BA/BS
* 3-5 years of related experience in B2B marketing and sales
* Experience in the education field
* Good time management, prioritization, and organization skills
* Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint and Excel
* Strong team player who can also work independently and proactively
* Top-notch communication skills, both written and verbal
